This itinerary takes you and the one you love to the source of each, over four days with a car and driver just for you, a reserved table at every winery and a Portuguese-speaking advisor taking care of everything. The high point is the tasting-menu dinner at El Enemigo, Alejandro Vigil’s house, among vineyards and candles: the kind of night that yields the best photo of the trip —and the memory that lasts.
Before and after, the Mendoza summer does the rest: Chandon sparkling with the sun sinking behind the cordillera, lunch at Zuccardi with the Andes in the window, the Catena pyramid. The itinerary
Airport welcome and private transfer. We begin with lunch at Espacio Trapiche, the restaurant of Maipú's century-old winery, and continue to Chandon: a glass of sparkling wine in hand as the sun sets behind the Andes. Overnight at your hotel, in Luján or downtown.
A full day in the Uco Valley, an hour from the hotel. Visit to Zuccardi Valle de Uco —Piedra Infinita, named the world's best winery several times— and a paired tasting-menu lunch with views of the cordillera. Unhurried return at dusk.
In the morning, the Mayan pyramid of Catena Zapata in Agrelo, with a tasting of the wines that put Argentine Malbec on the map. Free afternoon to rest. In the evening, the moment of the trip: a tasting-menu dinner at Casa Vigil, El Enemigo, among vineyards, art and Alejandro Vigil's wines.
An unhurried morning. If your flight time allows, an optional tasting at Susana Balbo, Argentina's first female winemaker, before the private transfer to the airport.
