Wine experiences in Mendoza
What experiences can you have at the wineries of Mendoza?
In Mendoza you can enjoy private guided visits and tastings, lunches and tasting menus at the winery, workshops to create your own blend (blending), sunsets among the vines, horseback rides and scenic flights. Vempra designs them bespoke across the three main wine regions: Luján de Cuyo, Maipú and the Uco Valley.
Which are the best winery areas in Mendoza?
The three signature areas are Luján de Cuyo (the cradle of Malbec), Maipú (the classic, boutique zone) and the Uco Valley (altitude, avant-garde and cult wines in Gualtallary, Tupungato and Paraje Altamira).
Can you have lunch or dinner at the wineries of Mendoza?
Yes. Many wineries have fine-dining restaurants with paired tasting menus. Some tables, such as Casa Vigil (El Enemigo) and Los Toneles’ Abrasado restaurant, are recommended by the Michelin Guide.
Do you need a reservation to visit a winery?
Yes. Premium visits and experiences are by prior reservation and, generally, in private or small groups. Vempra coordinates the bookings and builds the full itinerary.
Does Vempra organize the whole trip in Mendoza?
Yes. Vempra is a DMC: beyond the winery experiences, we design the bespoke itinerary with private transfers, wine-lodge stays and all the reservations, with no closed packages.
