Mil Suelos — “a thousand soils” — carries its concept in its name: single-parcel wines that set out to show the variety of soils in Lunlunta and eastern Maipú, a region of old vineyards that for years went unnoticed next to Luján and the Uco Valley.
The scale is small, and the guided visit and tasting close with a paired lunch. For travelers who already know the big names and want to see where Mendoza’s historic Malbec comes from.
