Winery Tour – MAIPU – “Discovering the secrets of wine: A tour of family wineries in Maipú”

The Maipú area, just outside the city of Mendoza, is home to a fascinating mix of historic and pioneering wine families. On this tour, you will have the special opportunity to get an inside look at several wineries that represent the past, present and future of wine in this renowned region.

Your trip will begin by visiting the wineries of some of Maipú's centuries-old families, who have been making wine here for generations. You will hear the stories behind these old wineries that have experienced much of the area's wine history.

You will also visit some new, small family wineries that are working hard to continue the tradition of artisanal wine making in Maipú. Although recently created, its objective is to preserve the essence of the ancient wines of the region.

To cap off the day's tastings, you'll end up at an olive oil producer to sample some of Mendoza's burgeoning products. This will give you an idea of another side of the wealth and agricultural heritage of Maipú.
