  • Salentein Winery

Salentein is one of the most architecturally impressive wineries 😱 in Mendoza. The winery was founded in the late 1990s by Dutch businessmen.

Produces high quality wines 🥇 from grapes from the estate. The main varieties cultivated are Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Salentein is especially known for its iconic series of single vineyards focused on expressing Mendoza's unique terroir.

Septem offers daily guided tours and tastings, providing an in-depth look at its winemaking philosophy and viticultural practices 🥸. Guests can taste directly from the barrel room ⭐and enjoy panoramic views of the Andes Mountains ⛰️from the winery terrace.

For a more intimate experience, Septem features a private tasting room where guests can relax 💆‍♂️ by the fireplace while sampling reserve wines paired with local cheeses 🧀 and charcuterie. Personalized vineyard visits can also be arranged with wine tastings among the vineyards.

Casa de Uco is one of the most consolidated and recognized wineries in the Uco Valley region in Mendoza. Founded in 2007 by the Álvarez family, Casa de Uco aims to produce ultra-premium wines 😎 that showcase the unique terroir of the Uco Valley.

Casa de Uco welcomes visitors for tastings and tours at its state-of-the-art winery. 🦾 Guests can taste wines directly in the barrel room to taste them in their freshest state.

Daily tours provide an in-depth look at the vineyards 🤳, the winemaking process and the philosophy of Casa de Uco. Private tours can also be arranged.

The guest house at Casa de Uco provides the opportunity for an immersive experience in the wine region. Guests stay on-site and have personalized access to the vineyards and winery.

  • Petrini Winery

The winery was founded in 2005 by Roberto and Griselda Petrini, who had the vision 🧐 of producing high-quality wines that expressed the unique terroir of the region.

Petrini focuses on making small-batch wines from vineyards located in the Gualtallary subregion of the Uco Valley. This higher elevation area provides excellent exposure to sunlight ☀️ and cool nights 🌙, ideal for developing complexity in the grapes.

The winery specializes in Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Their Malbec in particular has received praise, with rich dark fruit flavors and velvety tannins. The Chardonnay also shines, with a fresh acidity balanced by barrel aging 😊.

Visitors can book private guided tours and tastings at Petrini. The experience includes learning about the history of the winery, walking through the vineyards 🤳, touring the production facilities and tasting edition and reserve wines paired with local cheeses 🧀.

  • La Vigilia Winery

Known for producing some of the highest quality wines in Argentina 💯. The winery was founded in 2007 by Count Andrea Franchetti, who was inspired by the potential of the Uco Valley terroir.

La Vigilia focuses on producing Premium wines 🏆. The style of winemaking at La Vigilia aims for elegance, finesse and purity of the fruit. The wines are fermented in small batches using a combination of concrete eggs, stainless steel, French oak barrels and amphorae 🏺. This diversity of vessels allows winemakers to better express each grape 🍇 and terroir.

  • Piedra Infinita Winery

The winery was founded in 2007 by the Pulenta family, who have a long winemaking history 🍇 in the region. The name Piedra Infinita refers to the unique limestone terroir of the vineyard site.

Piedra Infinita focuses on producing premium Malbec, as well as other varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Torrontés.

The winery offers personalized tasting experiences for visitors. Guests can take a guided tour of the vineyards and production facilities with the winemaker 🧑‍🏫. This offers insight into the winemaking philosophy 🍾 and a behind-the-scenes look at the process. The tour concludes with a seated tasting of several Piedra Infinita wines paired with local foods.
