• Visit to Bodega Decero

Founded in 1999 by Thomas Schmidheiny, Bodega Decero is one of the newest wineries in the Luján de Cuyo region. It quickly became one of the most prestigious, thanks to its focus on quality and innovation. 💯

Decero owns 170 hectares of vineyards in Agrelo and Perdriel, where they grow varieties such as Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Tannat and Bonarda. They have careful management of the vineyard, with controlled yields and manual harvesting of whole clusters.

The winery was designed specifically for the production of high-end red wines, with modern facilities and cutting-edge technology. They have stainless steel tanks, French oak barrels and foudres for aging.

Winemaker José Galante leads the winemaking, seeking to express the terroir of Luján in each wine. Among its iconic labels are Amano, composed of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Tannat; and Altitude Blend, with Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon.
